Your questions, answered

Where should I start when planning a new kitchen?

Start with your room, your daily routine and the things your current kitchen does badly. Bring measurements or plans if available, photographs and a few examples of styles you like. You do not need to have chosen every finish before contacting us.

What is the difference between Shaker and in-frame?

Shaker describes the door style; in-frame describes a door positioned within a surrounding cabinet frame. A Shaker-style door may be in-frame or lay-on.

What does bespoke mean in a kitchen quotation?

Ask the supplier to specify what can be customised: cabinet dimensions, materials, finishes, interiors or the design alone. The label does not identify one universal construction or material.

Can you help if I already have a kitchen quote?

Yes. Bring the layout and specification to discuss an alternative Sheraton proposal. Compare the full scope rather than headline prices alone.

How much should I budget?

Sheraton’s minimum kitchen project budget is £30,000, with typical projects between £30,000 and £75,000. The written price depends on the cabinetry, surfaces, appliances and agreed scope. Tell us if the same budget must also cover building work.

Are building work and all trades included?

Do not assume that they are. Your written proposal should identify delivery, kitchen installation, plumbing, electrics, structural work, decorating and disposal responsibilities separately.

Can I keep my existing appliances?

Discuss the models, condition, dimensions and installation requirements at the start. Reuse needs to work with the design and the appliance manufacturer’s requirements.

Can I request a particular appointment time?

Yes. The consultation form has optional preferred date and time fields. The team will contact you to confirm availability; submitting a preference is not a confirmed booking.

Can I upload plans or a quotation?

The consultation and quote-review forms include an optional document upload. Send only relevant material you are entitled to share, and remove unnecessary personal information.

Where can I visit?

Our Twickenham studio is at 103 High Street, Whitton, TW2 7LD. Our Slough design centre is at 778 Buckingham Avenue, SL1 4NL and is by appointment. Contact us to arrange your visit.

How long does a kitchen project take?

Timing depends on design decisions, the selected products, site readiness and installation scope. Ask for a programme for your project rather than relying on a generic lead time.

How do I choose between a classic and contemporary kitchen?

Compare the door lines, proportions and finishes you enjoy, then test both against the room layout and storage needs. Either direction can work with modern appliances and thoughtful planning.
