Compare kitchen quotes with a designer
Already have a kitchen design or quotation? Bring it to Sheraton Interiors and explore an alternative proposal for your home. We’ll discuss the layout, cabinetry and scope so you can compare the things that matter to you.

Compare the specification, not just the total
Two kitchen quotations can look similar while including very different work. One may cover furniture only; another may include worktops, appliances and installation. A useful comparison starts with the same room, layout and list of responsibilities.
We are a kitchen design and installation business offering our own proposal, rather than an independent price-comparison service. Our aim is to help you understand your choices. We do not promise to beat every quotation or reproduce another designer’s work.
| What to check | Questions to ask |
|---|---|
| Cabinetry | Which range, door construction, cabinet sizes and internal fittings are listed? Are alterations or bespoke sizes included? |
| Door and frame | Is it true in-frame, in-frame effect or lay-on? What material and finish are specified? |
| Worktops | Check the exact surface, thickness, edges, upstands, joints, templating and fitting. |
| Appliances | Compare model numbers, quantities, installation requirements and warranty terms. |
| Installation | Identify delivery, fitting, removal, disposal and the responsibility for plumbing, electrics and making good. |
| Commercial terms | Compare VAT, exclusions, payment stages, lead times, variation costs and aftercare in writing. |
What to send for a useful review
- Your room plan or approximate measurements, if available.
- The kitchen quotation and specification you want to discuss.
- A few photographs of the room and any design images you like.
- Your postcode, intended timing and the changes you would like to make.
You may remove names, contact details and other information that is not relevant before uploading a supplier quotation. Only send documents you are entitled to share.
Explore the right kind of alternative
If you are comparing painted cabinetry, start with in-frame kitchens and beaded Shaker detailing. For contemporary options, explore German and contemporary kitchens. Our kitchen cost guide explains the main cost drivers and scope questions.

Your questions, answered
Can you review a quote for an in-frame or Shaker kitchen?
Yes. Send the proposed layout and specification so we can discuss an alternative design and compare the stated door, frame, finish, storage and installation scope.
Can you compare a German kitchen quote?
Yes. Include the range, cabinet dimensions, finish and appliance model numbers where available. A brand name alone is not enough for a like-for-like comparison.
Will the alternative necessarily cost less?
No. A different design or specification may cost more or less. The useful outcome is a clearer understanding of the proposal and the choices available.
Do I need a completed design before contacting you?
No. If you are still planning, share your room photographs or plans and tell us what you want to achieve.
